Thiriez Brewery ESQUELBECQ

Real ale brewery.

Former farm and brewery where Daniel Thiriez first produced four famous beers (Esquelbecquoise, Rouge Flamande, Ambrée and Blonde d'Esquelbecq). Tours of the brewery by arrangement, every day except between 1st and 16th January, with an explanation of the production and history of the beer. The estaminet is decorated with items relating to beer, enamelled plaques and old bottles. Beer and regional produce can be purchased in the estaminet and customers come in order to do the brewery tour or buy the beer it produces. No catering facilities.
