Opening 30th June 2014
On July 19th and 20th 1916, more than 8500 men - Australians, British and Germans - were dead, missing or wounded during the battle of Fromelles (Northern France). More than historic facts, the new Museum of the Battle of Fromelles links past and present. It becomes a major commemorative site. Discover reconstructions with the military equipment found in the former trenches of Fromelles. Meet “unknown soldiers”: for you, they will pass from the shadows into the light.
